Janice Desroches, MA
(she/her)

Hello,
A bit about me:
My name is Janice Desroches (she/her) and I am an educator and EDIDA (Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Decolonization, Accessibility) leader with 20+ years in post-secondary, research, and professional development. As Co-founder of Chapters4Change and a neurodiverse woman, I design and facilitate experiential, research-informed learning that embeds EDIDA principles into academic and organizational contexts.
I hold an MA in Applied Linguistics and am a graduand of the MA in Social Justice and Equity Studies program at Brock University (graduating October, 2025). Passionate about relationships and actionable solutions, I translate complex EDIDA concepts into practical outcomes that advance equity and systemic change, drawing on both my academic expertise and lived experience.
Outside of work, I’m a mom of three, a lover of music and art, and am grounded by connection with people and the land.
